Great wood working
I pay more attention to reviewers who have a track record with what they are reviewing, and tend to ignore the "we just got our ______ last week and it's great!" We have bought furniture from Marvin Keim at Country Furniture & Woodcraft for the last 30 years. The value proposition never ceases to amaze us. The quality they deliver at a cost less than you can find in Holmes or Adams counties, and way less than the "Amish" furniture stores in/around Columbus. We've bought pieces off the floor and have had several pieces custom made. When we ask "can you........" Marvin always nods his head an replies "We can do that." And they do.
Out in the middle of nowhere, but it's worth it. High quality furniture at reasonable prices. Hand made by Amish craftsmen.
By far the best furniture buying experience I have ever had. Our custom made dining table far exceeded all of our expectations of beauty, quality and craftsmanship. We were always greeted with contagious smiles and all business was conducted with enthusiastic professionalism. They followed our instructions to the letter and even anticipated our needs. I actually feel lucky to have done business with them. Their furntiure posesses a rugged elegance that at times is simply breathtaking. I hope to buy more in the future as the prices are quite fair, especially considering most of this furniture will have a longer life than us. A MUST TRY!
